This summer, Château Le Cagnard in the South of France welcomes two acclaimed Swedish culinary appearances overlooking the Mediterranean. In August, Thomas Sjögren and the duo Nils Molinder and Karl Ljung will each bring their own culinary world to the historic château in Haut-de-Cagnes.

High up in the picturesque alleys of Cagnes-sur-Mer, overlooking the sparkling Mediterranean coastline, lies Chateau Le Cagnard – a restaurant where Scandinavian elegance meets French gastronomic tradition. Behind this culinary experience are Swedish restaurateurs Axel Ohlson and Anton Surtell, who, with a deep love for both Nordic and French flavors, have created a place where the ingredients speak for themselves and the passion for food permeates every dish.

In the kitchen, the finest French ingredients are combined with Nordic influences, where pure flavors and seasonal ingredients take center stage. The philosophy is based on simplicity, balance, and respect for craftsmanship – a harmonious fusion of the rustic and the refined.
