CHÂTEAU LE CAGNARD WELCOMES SWEDISH GUEST CHEFS FOR TWO EXCLUSIVE SUMMER APPEARANCES
This summer, Château Le Cagnard in the South of France welcomes two acclaimed Swedish culinary appearances overlooking the Mediterranean. In August, Thomas Sjögren and the duo Nils Molinder and Karl Ljung will each bring their own culinary world to the historic château in Haut-de-Cagnes.
On August 7 and 8, Thomas Sjögren will take over the kitchen for two evenings inspired by his refined yet deeply rooted cooking. Sjögren is the chef behind several restaurants such as Signum in Mölnlycke, which in 2025 was awarded two Michelin stars and a green star by the Michelin Guide. Known to a wider audience from Swedish television, including Masterchef Sweden, he has become one of Sweden’s most celebrated chefs, with a style shaped by seasonality, precision, and a close relationship with nature.
Later in the month, on August 19 and 20, Nils Molinder of Wedholms Fisk and Karl Ljung of L’Avventura will arrive for two evenings together. Molinder is one of Sweden’s most respected names within fish and seafood, known for his long-standing dedication to craftsmanship, quality produce, and classic seafood dining. Ljung, behind Stockholm’s Italian restaurant L’Avventura, brings a generous and elegant approach rooted in Italian flavours and hospitality.
